The Lathrop House, downtown in the county government center at 627 Hamilton St., was moved to its present site in 1905 and survived the 1906 earthquake. The restored 1863 house is an example of early Gothic Revival architecture and is furnished in period. It is open to the public on the second Wednesday and third Saturday of the month from 11-3 (closed in August). Contact the chamber of commerce for additional information. Learn More...
